Just letting anyone that uses know that the update to 440.x NVIDIA drivers is causing the shader cache to be invalidated every launch of the game and has to recreate it. Lutris team are working on a fix, in the mean time if you're technically handy you can downgrade to 435.*

I'm guessing that significantly regresses load times of the game because of the shader recompilation?
JoshStrobl You can play immediately but performance hit is huge while it compiles. Otherwise you wait upto 5 minutes at a guess for it to compile and then play at full performance.
It's not a huge issue, just a minor inconvenience.
Good to know. I've only played once on a fresh install so I haven't noticed the shader cache being invalidated. I just thought it was because I had just installed the game. I'll keep an eye out.
