ashley I can only see networks when on kernel 4.20.16-112.current. The kernels from updates to my system doesn't allow me to see or use any networks in the network manager. I'm using Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8822BE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi adapter.
KingLucius You mean your wifi is not available if you use newer kernels.. If so there is a work in progress from Realtek and there is some drivers that are supported but the update did not released yet. I follow closely because I have rtl8732de and I was using custom driver but it stopped working after 5.3 kernels.
