Dear Sirs, a new issue has arisen with Firewalld, of the which their site has no info on how to correct. Perhaps you guys can help. Using Konsole/Terminal i type "firewall-cmd --reload", it then shows the following:
Error: 'inet firewalld filter_IN_public jump filter_IN_public_allow'
What Meaneth this and how to correct? Thanks in Advance!

Oh, almost forgot, when i click on the "reload firewall" in the upper left, it prompts me for 3 passwords, do not know
if that is normal? on occasion 5 password prompts.

Doing sudo firewall-cmd --reload works on my install. Have you customized your filter configs at all?

alecbcs not that i'm aware of. i have tied the firewall interfaces section into the MAC address of the network connections. "firewall-cmd --reload" causes all the firewall "Rich-rules" to be erased, and no other commands for rich-rules can be input. Attempting re-input the rich-rules, results in this:
You're performing an operation over default zone (''),
but your connections/interfaces are in zone 'public' (see --get-active-zones)
You most likely need to use --zone=public option.
type the firewall-cmd --get-active-zones, shows interface and source with Public at top.

While i am NOT a network savy guy, i have noticed a LOT of traffic from the rit.edu server, can that be thoroughly checked for bad Bots/bugs kind sirs?

catfishsushi RIT is where the repository is hosted, all installations, upgrades and update checks come from there.

Ok, Thanks for the info. At first, i didn't know that is where the updates came from, after learning that about 3 weeks ago, i felt silly blocking that IP address (major "OOF!). Is that connection a unbroken constant one? or does it check in every so often? Reason for asking, at wits end about the high ram usage, i did "sudo eopkg dc" and the ram use dropped off by a slight percentage. Is that normal?

P.S. the Firewald Site mentions something about new dependencies packages, not sure what they do inside/with the Code.
