HolySoap It's already an hour at the point of writing. Can I cancel this and try again over the terminal or is this a thing of patience? As a side note, my internet is running at 11 MB/s but it got stuck at this.
[deleted] HolySoap As told already here, Software Center likes to curl up in a ball upon errors, so sudo eopkg up is the way to go.
n2o HolySoap If you just close the updater, the process is still running in the background. Easiest solution is a reboot and then the terminal action.
catfishsushi I use: sudo eopkg up it works great, and I like the feeling of being closer to CLI user-hood.
