testeur70 Hello all, Yesterday, I changed my router and had to configure all my computer/laptop to connect to this new router. On my solus laptop I noticed that I am unable to find any tool/application/soft to enter my new configuration. Normaly, on my Budgie environment I should found “Network” in the System Settings category. But on my system I have not this Network tool. And Impossible to access and configure my new ESSID as described on this ink : https://getsol.us/articles/configuration/configuring-network/en/ How can I renstall this "Network" tool ? How to configure manually a new network (wifi) ? Thanks
EbonJaeger On my system, you can configure Wi-Fi networks by going to Settings >> Wi-Fi, and click the triple-dot button on the header to configure a hidden network. You can do this from the Budgie panel too by clicking the network icon in the system tray.
testeur70 EbonJaeger Thank you for your answer, but unfortunatly I do not have Wifi on setting. Few weeks ago I had to reinstall Budgie environnement ( see this post (https://discuss.getsol.us/d/2798-can-not-pass-after-signing-in-with-my-user-login/43) and something went wrong, but have not noticed it because the wifi was still working with my previous router. I have to reinstall this tool if possible or have to learn how to configure manually (Shell) a new wifi.
testeur70 Hello, I have installed "budgie-network-applet" and was able to recover a Desktop environment to configure my network connection. I am now able to configure a new wifi network but still have no idea of what was wrong ! If someone has an explanation ? https://github.com/danielpinto8zz6/budgie-network-applet Thanks for your help
