Hello! I'm trying out Solus for the first time and I've encountered an issue. I have 3 monitors across two cards - the first two are attached to my MB's built-in inputs (DVI + VGA) and the third (DVI) is plugged into an Nvidia GeForce GT 610 card.
There's nothing wrong with how things are plugged in, because Manjaro 18 (Plasma) detects all 3 and they are usable. Solus is detecting the GeForce card in addition to the integrated AMD Raven Ridge, but the screen remains black and does not show in the Display setting. Here's my inxi -G output:
Graphics:
Device-1: NVIDIA GF119 [GeForce GT 610] driver: nouveau v: kernel
Device-2: AMD Raven Ridge [Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series]
driver: amdgpu v: kernel
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.5 driver: amdgpu,ati,nouveau
unloaded: fbdev,modesetting,vesa resolution: 1920x120060Hz, 1440x90060Hz
OpenGL: renderer: AMD RAVEN (DRM 3.33.0 5.3.7-132.current LLVM 8.0.1)
v: 4.5 Mesa 19.2.2
What I've done so far: Installed the proprietary drivers, but doflicky recommended installing 390 - per NVIDIA's site, the correct driver is 304. 304 does not appear to be in the repos. Installed 390 anyway and it didn't work. 3rd monitor works when plugged into onboard graphics, so the issue is clearly the 304 driver. Is this driver no longer supported?
I've also installed all pending system updates and rebooted several times.
Any ideas? My workflow unfortunately is pretty dependent on 3 monitors, so I'd like to get it working if possible.
