HolySoap It may be true that "the Linux community" regards Ubuntu as the black sheep, however, it does not reflect reality. Ubuntu has made Linux based operating systems what they are today. I remember back in the WIndows XP days, when Ubuntu was basically the most user friendly distro out there, even though some tweaking was also required. The Linux community might want not admit it, but it owes a lot to Ubuntu and to its developers for making Linux based operating systems what they are today (stable and even competitive to Windows). They made Linux mainstream.
