So those are intel i3-7100 (Acer) and i5-8300 (Dell) based laptops.
The freezes start even during the installation of the latest updates, and then freezes continue after the reboot.
By freezes I mean that UI becomes mostly unresponsible, even if you can move your pointer (slowly or normally) anything else does not respond, no clicking on anything does not have any effect.
Sometimes just the pointer stops working at all, and you can only do stuff with the keyboard (on Dell).
Oh, and I cannot log in on Acer now. After I type in a password, I see a black screen and getting returned back to log in screen.
It was all good before recent updates.
Nothing like that happens on my 2 AMD Ryzen based PCs.
