Greetings fellow Solus user!
I'll try to do my best not to drag out on a rant or a ramble, but as the title suggests, when using an up to date Solus GNOME 3.34.1 edition using Plata (the default theme mind you), it appears that the login AND lock screen do not want to respect whatever the current gnome-shell theme is. I only noticed this today when normally my login/lock screen is always themed by the de facto GNOME theme (Adwaita), but for whatever reason my lock screen changed to respect the Plata theme today and I was greeted with a super awesome looking darker lock screen, which I think looks way better than the default GNOME. Upon a restart though, GNOME went back to not respecting my Plata theme, so the lock/login screens are back looking like Adwaita instead of Plata.
Does any other GNOME user experience this as well?
I'm rather curious if this is a specific bug with GNOME or Plata?
I don't know if it's something Solus can patch?
I also don't know if it's something I can change/edit myself, which I don't mind doing of course, but I'd need a bit of guidance!
I found a few possibly relevant links to make GNOME respect your current gnome-shell theme, but they are mainly focused on Ubuntu:
