hi, i know the issue you linked from one of my other machines where I dual-booted into Ubuntu. The Swap partition was re-formatted and changed its UUID, and so I got a timeout on this partition.
The problem I have now is new and on a different machine. It is also different in that I boot to lightdm very quickly, but when I enter my password into lightdm to log in, it takes a very long time to show the desktop. I assume it is a problem with at-spi-dbus-launcher because
a) i have a big gap in timestamps for journalctrl -b until i reach the timeout message
b) the same process hangs at logout and gives a warning window
if you google for "at-spi-bus timeout", you mostly find posts from other distros that talk about *.desktop files. These files do not appear to exist on my Solus installation.
