I have a weird issue here. I have 2 identical 4k monitors. When I booted today, one was using the normal 3840x2160 resolution, the other is stuck at 1280x800. I already tried replugging the cable, using a different port on the GPU and even switched the cable. My GPU is a RX590.
I also found this in the journal:
