Hello,
My Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 Ethernet Controller works correctly when connecting via Wi-Fi but the ethernet does not work.
The driver installed is 8169 which from what i've read can cause problems. I have a couple of questions.
If the state of the device is "Down" when an ethernet cable is plugged in, does that mean the drivers aren't correctly working or the hardware is not working? I've tried 2 different ethernet cables and I get the same result.
Do you think the problem is related to the driver or to the fact that the state of the network interface is "Down" ? I have tried to force it "Up" but it has no effect.
Thanks very much for any help, I am a bit confused on this issue.

I've done an eopkg up and the r8168 drivers are not present on my machine. From what i've read these drivers are the best for Solus latest kernel version. Any other ideas?
