Darktable version

I think there's a mistake with the darktable version provided from the Software Center. It says to be version 2.6.2-44, which is indeed the current stable version, but once installed, darktable says to be version 2.7.0, which comes from the unstable branch.

Is there a way to receive only the latest stable release? The unstable release has, as its name suggests, some issues.

Crashes here and there, mixed up translatation and overlapping lines of the UI. And I feel like some of my older developments look different, but since I usually keep the raw with its sidecard only I cannot compare to the final jpg.

Version number is because it was switched to git instead of using the latest tarball

It's not possible to switch back.

It won't compile. Which is why I moved us to git in the first place.
Database changes means no downgrading.

I'll see about moving us to a newer git commit though.
