There is no sound registered by the internal microphone while an external one register some kind of white noise. I've tried to configure pulseaudio using the default /etc/pulse/daemon.conf without success.
How to disable auto resampling to test please ?

Here on the screenshot : I should normally be able to detect some sound with my internal microphone but as you see...

tibi97427 Ok since the update 3.34.1 of GNOME, it seems that the microphone is functionnal again. Just that sometimes I need to plug and unplug my headphones so that the laptop react in the sound settings to let me choose where the output sound need to be.

Could you post a screenshot of your list of microphones in the audio settings, with your external one plugged in?
I'm also running Budgie and am sometimes using the internal mic, sometimes a Rhode mic through a Yamaha mixing console which I plug together before I turn the computer on, then let it recognise all devices, and it recognises them all, I just might have to pick the right one(s) before i start using them.

It seems like you're facing an issue with your internal and external microphones. To disable auto resampling in PulseAudio, you can try editing the /etc/pulse/daemon.conf file, but it seems you've already attempted that without success.
