Donation?

I told Ikey a long time ago in a galaxy far far away that I'd make a donation if Solus ever made it to version 4. Here we are, and honestly I love it. It's just smooth. You can feel the love poured into it.

Now I know for a while the team lost access to a lot of things when Ikey left. As far as I know the team did recover Patreon, but I don't see it as an option in the "Support Us" tab on the main site or any other donation option for that matter.

Just for my clarification where do I send my money? I have a one time donation that to me is small compared to the amount of work and dedication put into this OS. Remember Evolve? Been watching ever since then and now Solus 4 is finally here. If I need to I'll even send it to you directly, JoshStrobl. Just take my money lol.

Donations are currently not accepted and we won't be accepting donations until we have a legal entity behind us to handle all of that. While I understand that some people want to donate (and I am grateful for that willingness), I want to ensure that the situation that had happened with Ikey and both the PayPal and Patreon never happens again.

JoshStrobl When you have the legal entity I know you will inform this forum. Interested especially in any/all donation options outside patreon/paypal if those suddenly exist someday.

Definitely kudos on this, I cannot say this enough it seems but I really respect you and the Solus team for these principles. Can't wait for you to get the legal entity behind and to restart my donations 🙂 I would like to pay back and contribute to this project that makes my everyday computing a joy.
