I installed solus on my new system
Gigabyte X570 Aurus Elite
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
AMD Radeon RX 580

I want to stress test my system and find out what kind of temperatures would I get, however when I type sensors command in terminal I only get information about amdgpu-pci-0700 and acpitz-acpi-0
Do I need to install aditional packages? I have already lm-sensors installed.

Try running this if you haven't and check sensors again.

sudo sensors-detect

Its not going to appear for you, support isn't in the kernel yet. (You're waiting for 5.4~)

Asrock users have another option:
SMBUSMASTER 1: +60.0°C
SMBUSMASTER 0: +41.5°C

One is chipset the other is CPU (0 = CPU for me).

Apparently ASUS use some weird asus-wmi stuff that is not well supported, gigabyte and others use ITE? also not great, Asrock use nct which seems to have better Linux support.

Ohh, thank you for your replies. I didn't see any notifications.

I will wait for 5.4 then

ive been playing around with manjaro on an otherwise unused disk, cpu temps for my 3800x/x570 works there, even though its using a slightly older kernel, im not sure what additional stuff they might have
