Wifi no longer working after locking screen

After locking my screen for about 20min, when logging back my wifi will be completely disabled with no possibility to activate it again through the settings. Only a full restart of the computer will work, locking and logging again or even logging out of my session and relogging aren't fixing it.

Running Solus live from a USB stick.
I have found with Solus 6.6.9 that when i log back in the following window pops up "KDE5 Wallet Service" (where I had to select it from one of 2 options originally when setting up) which requires me to enter a password I created at the time of selecting it and setting it up. I had to do this when I wanted to join a local wifi network for the first time.
When I enter the right password for this wallet my wifi connection was restored.
