Can't run ./configure

When i try to run ./configure in any package i receive the following message:
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details

Have you installed the base development tools?
sudo eopkg install -c system.devel

Have you installed basic development tools and libraries (sudo eopkg install -c system.devel)?
