I am impressed with Solus Budgie. It is running very well on a purple HP Stream 14 I bought recently. I’ve been distro testing on this rather weak machine for the last month or so. I’ve decided on Solus Budgie because I get all the features I want without overloading the computer.
I think Budgie looks good out of the box, and I like the supplied themes and fonts, but I can’t help but tinker with those settings.
For fonts I use the hinted version of Open Sans:
