In Kdenlive, you can arrange your workspace however you wanted it to look like and then save the layout so that you can use it later if you feel like using it.
It would be cool if we could do the same with the panel. So I could set up a Mac-like layout, save it, and then use it later on when I feel like it. If the next day I feel like I wanted to use a windows-like layout, I could just use the layout that I've saved previously.
Currently, wou would need to completely disassemble the layout that you have and then reassembled it if you want to change the layout. But If I can save the layout and load it for future use, it would make this a lot less of a hassle.
Could be some feature for the future version of Budgie.
