Quinix Because of the awful way they put all of those applets into one repo. Each applet should be in its own repo on GitHub so it can be released and updated individually.

Quinix You have to learn Solus packaging basis if you want to build this. It is actually pretty easy if you are used to the terminal.

I mentioned to @algent that I will review the applets individually and determine which ones should realistically be added. Some of them shouldn't exist in the first place and should've been implemented directly into Budgie Desktop (either window manager features on top of Mutter, or applet improvements).

[deleted] I added Kangaroo and the weather-show applets but haven't gotten them to appear in my panel settings. I added the sysmonitor one and love it.

Actually I think a budgie-panel --replace & should be enough to make it show up.

I think it is better nohup budgie-panel --replace & because without nohup the panel disappear when you close the terminal.
