Commands to install GNOME Desktop not working.

Guys, according to the Desktop Enviroment section on the help center:

Solus offers a GNOME Shell experience that ships out-of-the-box with a variety of extensions. If you have installed either our Budgie or MATE editions, you can try out and install GNOME Shell by running the following commands:
sudo eopkg rm lightdm
sudo eopkg install gdm gnome-shell gnome-desktop-branding
But it didn't worked here.

i5 7400, gtx 1060 6GB (418.43).

What's the error you are getting?

Girtablulu In the reboot i can't enter enter, I'm stuck at the cli. If i try a startx, it doesn't work somehow. If i try to install through the Software Center and to enter through lightdm, it just give me a black screen not working GNOME desktop.

You need to run it from the CLI. And you say "enter through lightdm" which very much makes it sound like you didn't actually uninstall it, otherwise you would be hitting GDM instead. LightDM does not work with GNOME Shell, you have to use GDM.

Also be sure to install gnome-desktop-branding-material, I'll be updating the doc tomorrow to recommend that over gnome-desktop-branding

Its now working here, i did some check commands, i used the rebuild-db command, and i used the gnome-desktop-branding-material package and it just worked with the adaptation of the defaults info the wiki.

I think somehow what really solved the issue was the gnome-desktop-branding-material package.
