solus doesnt work with hidden wifi.
i can connect, but it loses connection every few seconds.
reconnect, lose connection, reconnect, lose connection......

Seems more like an issue with your wireless card or the network itself.
hm, had installed on a lenovo t450 ubuntu, manjaro and deepin before solus. they could handle hidden wifi.
had an similar problem with manjaro and dde, but with xfce it worked fine.
