Firefox scrolling slow

Scrolling in firefox seems to go slow for me.
lspci:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 530 (rev 06)
glxgears produce a low, low 300 fps. Is this normal for intel graphics?

I'm not sure where to look in how to getting this fixed or what additional information might be needed.

Set mousewheel.min_line_scroll_amount to 50 at about:config and yes its normal because Mutter uses vsync by default and your monitor refresh rate is 60Hz (5*60)=300 frames, if you want to test glxgears with no vsync use vblank_mode=0 glxgears

As an Intel user you can use triple buffer editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf and paste

Driver "Intel"
Option "AccelMethod" "SNA"
Option "TripleBuffer" "true"

Running glxgears with "vblank_sync=0" gave me a much higher value (somewhere between 7000 and 8000 fps. Thanks for the suggestion.
Also thanks for giving me help with the 20-intel.conf greatly appreciated.

xahodo glxgears is not an actual benchmark tool is just a simple OpenGL test, TripleBuffer gives the best Linux desktop experience for Intel users with no screen tearing 😁
