Gnome AlternateTab and Extensions Question.

I just noticed this after I re-installed Solus Gnome, the initial install included AlternateTab in Gnome Tweak then after the upgrade it was removed. Is that extension not widely liked/used that it was removed? I guess what I'm trying to get to say is why include it in the live and initial install then remove it without giving the user an option to re-install it?
Also will Gnome extensions be added in the future?

You can install gnome extension directly from https://extensions.gnome.org/
You need to install the browser plugin from Gnome to easily install the extension.

yursan9 Thanks for the reply but I was really hoping that gnome shell extensions be provided within gnome and accessible via the gnome software store the way other distro's have it now. Using the gnome shell extensions via the website was the way to do it back when when this wasn't available yet. I just figured this feature be included within the software store but seeing that gnome-software isn't available this isn't possible. I'm trying to access everything as far as apps and extensions as such in one centralized location I guess.

You can install any extensions you want from https://extensions.gnome.org/. Looks like the functionality that this extension provides is now built into GNOME Shell https://blogs.gnome.org/fmuellner/2018/10/11/the-future-of-alternatetab-and-why-you-need-not-worry/

Justin Thanks for the video and links. My issues with AlternateTab is solved and relying less on extensions.
