As you can see from this answer to a thread in Kakoune's repository, apparently the ncurses package shipped in Solus (built with ncurses-5 compatibility) is causing problems in the mouse interaction with the editor.
Is this ncurses-5 compatibility still necessary? If so, is there anything that can be done to avoid the related problems?
