When connecting my laptop via HDMI to a television, I am unable to get the sound to output through the TV.
I tried adapting the steps outlined here (https://itsfoss.com/how-to-fix-no-sound-through-hdmi-in-external-monitor-in-ubuntu/) but my computer isn't even recognizing any option for sound output beyond my internal speakers and the headphone jack.
Has anyone else had any experience with this, or tips for how to get it to work?
