dlalinsp The etcher package in the repository is not at the latest version. Etcher is currently at 1.5x, whereas the one in the repository is at 1.4x. I noticed in the changelog that it does not get updated very frequently, either. Is there any reason for this? 👨🦳
Harvey Probably this: https://dev.getsol.us/T7802#149008 As someone who once tried to update etcher months ago, it can be rather annoying. They also tend to tag releases for single commits that are not really that important: https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md It's also hardly a priority to update a tool that works perfectly fine. "Make window size configurable" - I'll get right on that! /s
dlalinsp kyrios I checked it out. Etcher is up to date. My bad! 😅 Thanks, kyrios! I don't know what happened. I always keep my system updated. I wonder why it didn't show up before?
U-ser-2 Hi everyone! I want to install balenaEtcher. I need to now where to find that eopkg packages list. I don't know how to install applications that aren't in Solus repository yet. Cheers!
algent U-ser-2 Isn't balenaEtcher same as etcher. Search on Software Center for etcher, or install it from terminal sudo eopkg install etcher. Latest version of etcher 1.5.79 is currently in review process.
