Hi. I´ve been trying to replace windows10 in my notebook (HP pavilion x360 Convertible, ProductNumber L9M47LA#AC4). Ubuntu 18.04, 19.04, Mint, all of them after one day just go crazy: Can´t resume, cooler goes beserk. it seems that HP has put effort to make this product to run only windows.
I was wondering if Solus(since it´s not ubuntu based) would be the one to remove microsoft from my life.

Does anyone have experience with this(or similar) model?

Thanks in advance!
Since Solus

Give it a try, can't hurt if you're comfortable with re-installing Windows if it fails. Alternatively, you can set Solus to run alongside Windows in the installer so you can always boot back to it.

Hi! I have a HP Spectre x360 and It works flawlessly.
Touchscreen interaction still works better in Windows 10, but I didn't care, frankly.
Touchpad driver is way better than crappy Synaptics you get from HP.
Battery Life is around 9 hours browsing with Chrome and watching Youtube (Win 10 was about 11-12) with TLP.
