What (external) webcam do you use?

I use Solus on my desktop and I need to buy a webcam for teaching in a virtual classroom.

I was looking into the Logitech line up (either Brio or C9xx models) but wasn't sure how well they'd work on Solus.

If you have a 1080p webcam that works pretty well OOTB (or at least with minimal tinkering), I'd love to hear about it!

Also the virtual classroom is in-browser, so if anyone has some knowledge to share about software that tweaks/configures the webcam and lets me use it from the browser, that would be great too.

tomocafe Most webcams will work in a browser if they work on the OS. I've only got an ancient webcam that is likely long discontinued so no point me sharing info about that. 😀

tomocafe In case anyone finds this in the future, it worked fine out of the box. I use it with OBS Studio.
