Problem with Lutris. HELP PLEASE !!!

Hi I'd like to ask you a question. I tried to install worms armageddon with Lutris and the gog method. But after a fiew seconds here is what appears in the window "Waiting on children
All children gone
Exit with returncode 1". Can you help me please ? Thank you

Hi !
I just watched at the Worms installer in GOG and there's only the windows version, so you would be able to play it only with wine. Did you installed the wine dependencies that you need ?
Look there, there's a specific solus command -> https://github.com/lutris/lutris/wiki/Wine
Also at the bottom of the lutris webpage, there's a link to the FAQ and the wiki (the link I gave you is from the last), I don't know if you already done it but if not I recommand you to read it.

Flo Hi Flo thanks for your answer, yes of course I've installed Wine that's why I dont know why it doesn'work. Do you have any idea from where the problem could come ? It also comes with that message before the one I shew you before "Note: command /home/j-b/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine/ge-protonified-nofshack-4.9-x86_64/bin/wine64 regsvr32 /S quartz.dll returned status 5. So, just to make really sure we have the basics covered:
All of these packages are installed?:
wine wine-devel wine-32bit-devel winetricks (as mentioned on the page Flo linked to)

Staudey Yes I installed Winetricks in my case in 64 bits version. Lutris asked me to download aditionnal packages that would be necessary to run the game and I let it download them all

See, this is where you continue to confuse me.
There is only one winetricks in the repository. That's why I asked, whether you installed all of those packages, specifically.

Not that lack of these dependencies is necessarily the source of your problem, but if we can make sure we're all talking about the same thing, we can at least start to rule things out.

Hmm I downloaded the GOG installer just in case of ( Don't ask where, I'll remove it after tests). And tried the GOG script, which was waaay too long to do (I don't got a good internet connection to be honest).
So i just installed the game the classic way via lutris ("Add game"-> "Runner=wine"->"Game option=path to installer"->Install the game-> Once installed, right click on the game on the lutris list then "configure", and in game option change the path to the installer to the path for the installed .exe) and it just worked :S, so I don't know what to say to you.

Just in order to be sure, open a terminal and put this command :
sudo eopkg install wine wine-devel wine-32bit-devel winetricks

With a bit of luck it's just a program that you forgot to install 🙂
