My computer does not shut down!

I recently had an issue where my computer does not properly shutdown. After I click 'shut down' a black screen appears with the terminal cursor blinking on the left corner. Usually, it spits out a message like 'watchdog did not stop' and shuts down almost immediately. Now, it stays blinking for a long time and I have to force a shutdown. This started after a period of inactivity on my computer and it stopped happening a few days later.. Now, it again started. Please help!

Wait it out takes up to over 1min, this means something wonky cant be stopped while shutdown, check if any process are running before shuting down

Girtablulu I did wait. I waited for more than 10 mins and I close any processes from applications like steam, bitwarden and tutanota before shutting it down. 😰

This command will display the logs of the previous boot starting from the end. Perhaps you'll find something there

sudo journalctl -r -b -1
