mkl Harvey 2GB boot remains our recommendation. These days, 2 GB shouldn't be a problem anymore; everyone ought to have that much to spare. Even though prices are currently very high 😉
totalmongobaer Harvey Firefox is my Favorit Browser on Desktop. I use Brave on Android, it performs better than FF yet, but would like to test it how is the https://brave.com/origin/ on the Desktop 🙂
Harvey We will not be adding yet another browser to the repo. So that will be up to users to figure out if they want Brave Origin or any other browser like the Opera GX nonsense. I am not interested in updating and cherry-picking browsers all day.
brent totalmongobaer I use three browsers, all flatpaks; none are in our repo. Very happy with how this turned out. My point is lots and lots of choices in Linux.
v3l0ct GNOME updated no issues. I have tweaked firefox so it runs well with low memory usage and pretty secure.
BuzzPCSOS v3l0ct I have tweaked firefox so it runs well with low memory usage and pretty secure. I would be interested to get some hints on your tweaks in another thread. Please share. By low memory do you mean 4Gb which is the minimum entry level for Solus? *Edit typo
Harvey Cherry-picked firefox + firefox-langpacks v152.0 Note the changelog isn't available at the time of writing. History says major releases pretty much always have CVE fixes and I am too impatient to wait for the proper release tomorrow.
