I have this same black screen issue with one of my computers. The only one with an Nvidia graphics card, specifically GeForce GTX 680. I can confirm that the latest Solus Budgie ISO is unusable with this computer. And the Solus Budgie I have installed on this computer long time ago, but now after updating it, now boots to either a black screen with mouse cursor or a black screen without mouse cursor. And only when I have the cursor I can switch to a TTY. Installing nvidia-glx-driver-32bit nvidia-glx-driver-common nvidia-glx-driver-current nvidia-glx-driver-modaliases did not help. Thats when I lost the mouse cursor, so it made things even worse. Please make a new ISO so I can enjoy Solus Budgie again with this computer also.

That's old hardware, probably uninstalling nvidia-glx-driver-32bit nvidia-glx-driver-common nvidia-glx-driver-current nvidia-glx-driver-modaliases that you installed and then installing nvidia-470-glx-driver-32bit nvidia-470-glx-driver nvidia-470-glx-driver-common nvidia-470-glx-driver-modaliases could help you on that.

And an important note:

The nvidia-470* driver has not been supported by NVIDIA since January 31, 2023. It will be removed from the Solus repository in the not-so-distant future. When it is deprecated, your system will be forced back to the nouveau driver. This will result in significant performance drops compared to what you are used to.
