Crash after deep sleep, black screen on start

After restart, still same problem, black sreen (still after starting solus menu)

I try for April 30, before the problem, with

I see you're talking to yourself in this thread, thought I'd chime in 😃.

Try running the system on the LTS kernel: sudo eopkg it linux-lts

Add the boot menu display option: sudo clr-boot-manager set-timeout 5 && sudo clr-boot-manager update

After restarting, you should see a boot menu. Select the LTS kernel instead of current.

If you want to install mypaint-brushes1, try:

wget https://cdn.getsol.us/repo/shannon/m/mypaint-brushes1/mypaint-brushes1-1.3.1-1-1-x86_64.eopkg

It looks like you're trying to install lts from Solus live, but it's an older version (referencing v5.15.145). You need to either do a chroot, or try booting your system and switching to tty with Ctrl+Alt+F2 or F3

No need to switch to tty. Since you have LTS installed, just select it at boot. You didn't run sudo clr-boot-manager set-timeout 5 && sudo clr-boot-manager update, so the boot menu won't show by default. After startup, press space several times and the menu should appear - then choose LTS.

Are you seeing these errors in TTY? If yes, try running sudo systemctl restart lightdm.service.

We can't help if you don't explain exactly what you're doing. If the black screen after the update and new kernel is the issue, to boot your system:

1. You can switch to the LTS kernel.

2. Revert the update.

Since LTS is installed, I'd suggest logging in with it. I'm not sure where you're seeing FAILED to start lightdm.service - Light Display Manager Do you have splash and quiet disabled, does that take you to tty? I'm not sure.
If you still can't log in and you've installed mypaint-brushes1, try reverting the update.

When you see the error message about lightdm, wait a moment. The system should either show you a login screen or a terminal. If you see a terminal, run sudo systemctl restart lightdm.service. If you see a black screen, try pressing Ctrl+Alt+F2/F3 to access the terminal, then run the same command.

Yas, you can try reverting the update - at worst it will fail.
