Week 18, 2026

Since the update, my kernels are not showing correctly. Solus Budgie. Please see:

$ sudo clr-boot-manager list-kernels
[sudo] password for sasha:

com.solus-project.current.7.0.3-336
com.solus-project.current.6.18.23-334
com.solus-project.lts.6.18.26-286

$ uname -r
6.18.23-334.current

How can this be? Also, at boot time the 7.03 current is not shown, only the 6.18 current and lts.

This persists after multiple reboots.

elfprince I think because the 7.0.3 prob is broken

Do a package check

Its late and my brain is out to lunch dont remb the command to update all that stuff sheesh.

sudo eopkg check linux-current

could also try reinstalling sudo eopkg it --reinstall linux-current

Or through Solseek as you can click on the linux-current package and do both as well.

Axios JayC I reinstalled the kernel, will see what happens tomorrow morning with the new boot. 😄

Can also confirm the linux-current package being reported as broken when running eopkg check with the following output:

"Checking the integrity of linux-current Broken, Corrupted file: usr/lib64/modules/7.0.3-336.current/modules.softdep"

Reinstalling does not fix the issue.

faust i think this can be ignored since it showed me that for every single kernel update and i never had any issues.

faust Try using sudo eopkg dc before the reinstall.
