It is funny and maybe I am old fashioned, but before I even think about join a community and for me Solus is a community as much as a distro, I look for what kind of core values they have. Whether it is listed or just in how both the organiztion, in the case the Solus team/devs, and the community are.
It does not shock me that there are no plans to implement age verification. I have no doubt that the team does value the community and our privacy.
It also makes sense to monitor the situation. No one knows where this is all going and what will be the best way to respond or even what that will look like. We have seen so many jump the gun and that only puts you at a disadvantage. You are the rookie chess player making a move without the foresight to understand where your next steps are.
