While I do agree with others in trying to avoid Nvidia, it is hard on laptops if you want dedicated graphics. I have a Lenovo Legion with an Nvidia 3050 and one with a 4070 for work, and both run Solus really well. There are some little tricks on the install, which I would be happy to help with, but after that it runs smoothly. The LOQ series shares a lot with the Legion series, so this should work well.
