monitor scaling

I have a Lenovo iDeapad Slim 5 laptop. My display is currently 16:10. To change it to 16:9, I need a 1920 x 1080 display, which is possible with monitor scaling of 75%, 100%, 125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%. I don't see this scaling option in the Solus display. Does it exist?

Valmy Which DE/Edition are you using?

AFAIK, Fractional scaling (That's what 125%, 75% is called) only works properly on Wayland. So, in Solus it only works on Gnome and Plasma edition.

To add about factional scaling: If you plan to use gnome, right now on gnome 49 fractional scaling is not available by default. It will be available by default on gnome 50.

For now in gnome 49 you need to run this command in the terminal gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features "['scale-monitor-framebuffer']"

And after the option will be available under the scale option in display setting

Last time i used KDe plasma yes it was available. In the display settings under global scale you can choose the % of scaling you want

I downloaded Solus KDE and didn't need to use screen scaling. Glad to finally have a Linux distribution that suits me. I hope there will one day be a package for my RAW photo editing software, ART (https://github.com/artraweditor). French community : https://artherapee.fr/
