solus kde plasma keeps freezing for a short time

There is no pattern that triggers the freezing.
Recently, the computer has frozen completely several times and can only be turned off using the power button.
The short freezing is from KDE Plasma, because the same with other Linux operating system with KED Plasma.
Before Linux I use it with Windows 10 and it run good, but it is not for Windows 11
I have change the Wifi Modul, because the Broadcast only work with Problems on Linux.
The Intel Wifi works good with Linux.

berjer I have been seeing similar with my Dell Venue tablet. Screen freezes usually early on after booting. Repeatedly touching the screen Windows button (not mapped to anything but causes haptic feedback) seems to make it responsive again.
This only started happening a while back, I blamed my own os modifications so wiped and reloaded from scratch using the latest iso. Not really used it enough since to determine if that fixed it. I have kept this install as standard as possible to try and exclude any customisation as cause.
Edit: When reloading Solus I tried to wipe using the installer "Erase everything" option, which would not work. In the end I used KDE Partition Manager and wiped it successfully. There may have been some corruption on the hard drive which prevented the installer from wiping the drive and also caused the lock-ups. I had previously checked drive smart health and run disk check on the unmounted partitions using the Solus iso to boot from. No faults were ever found.
Running on the clean install last night, everything ran smoothly without even a hint of a lock-up so maybe that was the answer.

It looks like TraceyC hit the nail on the head here. Despite a fresh install there are still occasional freezes on my Dell Venue, usually at the sign-in screen or directly after signing into the OS.
This could be hardware dependent as I get freezes on my touchscreen PC with 4GB RAM and i3 processor but none on two other laptops that have 8GB RAM and i5 processors 🤷‍♂️
It is very intermittent which makes hunting it down a real pita.

Do you happen to have Variable Refresh Rate (vrr) enabled?

You can check in Display Configuration. If the setting does not exist, it means that it is not supported for your hardware and is off, which is good. If it does exist, disable it and see if that helps. VRR is a common cause of issues like this.

So I know that 6.6.2 fixes a few regressions but am not sure if this is one of them.
