I could not find Sound Konverter in the Solus Repository. To Quickly convert audio files to mp3/4 there is Sound Converter only. Unfortunately, in case of HD files, the latter can resample a batch of files but cannot resize their bit depth: for example from 24 to 16 bit per channel. It is not a problem preprocessing the batch in Sox but it's a step more, not necessary with Sound Konverter which calls Sox directly as a back-end.
Yes, you can also use Sox to convert the files but here I would like to point out the lack of Sound Konverter in the Solus Repo.
