Someone asked this back when it happened, it has no impact on us.
Solus staff had already been contributing a fair bit to the project such as support for non-ext filesystems, mount-boot command, LUKS fixes and more. We used to have 13 patches to our package of it while the contributions submitted upstream often sat unreviewed.
This lead to Solus forking clr-boot-manager back on 17th June 2024 which is over a year before ClearLinux announced it was ceasing operations and projects were archived.
We are highly likely to move away from it given our plans to use AerynOS tooling but there is no rush for us to switch and would work with AerynOS on any such solution.
