When Solus came back from the blackout the die hard Solus users showed back up on the forum.
Between the devs and the users alot of meaningful discussion went on about forum things and I guess
morphed it into what it is now.
And from those talks if one of the dev hadnt taken it under his wings to give it a good footing I dont think it would be what it is now.
Forums are dependent on everyone to make it happen I have slowed down alot but still show up and pitch in.
Hard to say on everything that makes it works but for me if it went away I prob would not use Solus.
To valuable of a venue when issues arise especially after an update.
Its a treasure of information if people read and ask questions.
I use it because I cut my teeth on forums and didnt transition to all the new wild do all venues.
(Just kinda what was on my mind)
Note: And I enjoy it
It may not end up being front runner but it did above my expectations.
