For some time now, it has not been possible to verify audio CDs using AccurateRip when ripping them. The hash values of the individual tracks also differ each time, as do the CRC values of the ripped files.
I use fre:ac under GNOME and have tested both the Flatpak and the latest stable and nightly AppImage.
After two days and nights of intensive testing and research, I now suspect that something on the kernel side may be causing verification to no longer be possible. The tracks are all read cleanly and play without errors, but something is still strange here.
Can anyone confirm this behaviour and perhaps offer a solution?
The error must have crept in within the last two months, because that's when I last ripped and everything was still fine.
