Discord: install from Flatpak or Solus?

Forgive me if this has been asked somewhere else before, but I couldn't find anything.
I'd like to install Discord and saw in Discover that it's available from Flatpak and from Solus. Which one to choose?
Based on which criteria do you guys choose which source to pick? (I'd be interested to know this both for Discord specifically but also in general, when installing an application, since I'll have to make the same choice for applications like Chrome and Flameshot)

Are the following statements correct?
Solus: more curated / more reliably tested, but potentially slower to update?
Flatpak: You get updates quicker, but potentially less tested?

I think it's fair to say that Discord gets updated VERY frequently by its developers (at least on Windows it feels like every time I open the application there are updates), so does this make a difference in terms of choosing which repo to install from?

Or would you recommend not installing the Discord application at all and rather using the browser-version?

Use whatever you want. I personally prefer to not use flatpaks when I don't have to.

Not universally because not all flatpaks are maintained by the developers of the app. So sometimes Solus will update faster than the flatpak maintainer does. Additionally sometimes we patch for issues when there is not a new version which contains the fix (this will not affect discord as its closed source) while flatpaks can do this, they often don't in my experience.

Not really no.

For Chrome you do not really have a choice, we do not provide a Chrome package.

For the sake of simplicity I install most software as a flatpak and the discord one works great.

I keep as closet to Solus package as possible and only use flatpaks when there's no other way.
