This is a printer/scanner.
Epsonscan2 (flatpak) handles that duty for my standalone but probably not for yours.

install the 1st and 3rd package here.
The 3rd one might cover the scanner and the first the printer.
Now test.
Open printer settings, install printer, pick driver. If it's not in there see if you can fake out with a similar model.
If all that fails Epson itself only has a DEB/RPM both incompatible with Solus. I looked for their open source (non deb/rpm) package but it's not there. If you can find that then install it (not easy but do-able).
Hope you can start there.
(There's some people here who might talk you thru the CUPS route but I don't subscribe to that personally)
(There's also some people here that are savvy cracking a DEB package or RPM open and making the contents work for them. I am not that smart. Yet.). hang in there; start troubleshooting.
ALSO I've never seen plug and play printer peripherals easily integrate the loving arms of your computer. Not any distro. Sometimes it's work but you have to start somewhere.
