Hello, technically not part of this update, but just before updating I tried to run eopkg lu and got only 4 packages, except then eopkg up installed 120.

Is it expected that the two can be desynchronized?

Iulian after today's update I see that wayland is the default and x11 is gone. wayland is causing me a lot of problems, so how do I reactivate x11? thanks!

sudo eopkg it plasma-x11 , reboot and select x11 session in sddm login screen.

Not sure if it changed with this update or last week, but just recognized that the power button on my keyboard stopped working.
Before the power button was assigned "standby" command. Looked in Budgie control center, but couldn't find any power button config.

I now found that in dconf /org/buddiesofbudgie/settings-daemon/plugins/media-keys/power-static is still set to XF86PowerOff, which doesn't seem to work anymore.
Other media keys still work, e.g. the "calculator" button on my keyboard still opens the calculator app.

As a workaround, I created the folder /etc/systemd/logind.conf.d and within it the file 50-power.conf with the content:

[Login]
HandlePowerKey=suspend

I could not find any default logind.conf on the system (checked /etc and /usr), is this expected/normal?

Since the last update Variety no longer works in Budgie. The Icon is still in the task bar but clicking on it does nothing. And using the scroll wheel of the mouse on the icon is supposed to change backgrounds but also does nothing. I can open the Variety program from the main menu but Variety never changes the background picture like it did before the update. Any ideas, anyone?

After this week's sync, I found three new processes running in System Monitor.

They are "agent", "applet.py" and multiple instances of "bwrap", may I know what are these please?

if I mouseover "agent" in System Processes : /usr/lib64/geoclue/geoclue2.0/demos/agent
If I mouseover ""applet.py in System Processes : /usr/bin/python3 /usr/share/system-config-printer/applet.py

Hope someone more technically proficient in system processes can shed some light in my previous post above, which I will reproduce below.

I found three new processes running in System Monitor.

Also, there are multiple instances of "bwrap" starting and disappearing from System Processes. If I were to mouseover each instance, there are multiple lines talking about "... -die-with-parent ..." and so on and so forth.

99 packages were updated in Solus today on my computer, and nothing unusual to report so far.

they didn't mess around fixing the Budgie stuff. been smooth sailing since update

The update went well, but now I can't open Console from Nautilus anymore.
Before this update I could right-click a folder in Nautilus and choose "Open in Console", but that option is now missing.

I'm using Solus Gnome.

endumiuz I believe this is because there was a change from Console to Ptyxis as default terminal for the GNOME edition on Solus.

You should be able to restore the right-click-open-in-terminal function with nautilus-open-any-terminal
sudo eopkg it nautilus-open-any-terminal
Then you have to set console with:
gsettings set com.github.stunkymonkey.nautilus-open-any-terminal terminal kgx; nautilus -q

EbonJaeger i use Solus-BUDGIE-desk. after this update: when launching the VIVALDI-browser i get an error message:
"Vivaldi could not unlock your (gnome-) keyring.
Without keyring you will loose your saved logins, Cookies, and functionalities like Sync, mail or calendar.
Please unlock or repair your keyring, and then try to launch Vivadi again".

i already looked into the Budgie keyrings application, but did not find anything.
what have i to do to get this working? (i am a noob :-) )

In Budgie since two updates ago I get this notification when I open Chromium...looked all over internet for ways to disable..there are ways to disable..haven't found the time to try---
PS this is a known issue at Buddies of Budgie (https://github.com/BuddiesOfBudgie/budgie-desktop/issues) so I don't know if Solus is attempting to fix as well.
