Vivaldi not using webcam correctly

Has it happened to any of you that on Vivaldi or any other Chromium-based browser, it detects the webcam but can't show the video? On sites like Microsoft Teams for example.
I had to switch to the flatpak version of Vivaldi (and now everything works fine. So I'd say a great workaround).

I just tested on Vivaldi (regular install), and my cam and audio work fine with Teams. It asks to give permission when I do a test call, but it worked as expected. I generally use Teams for Linux vs through my browser, but have used Vivaldi a few times for it.

OK, I think I understand thanks to your post. It's a compatibility issue between plasma-browser-integration and Teams on KDE.

If I disable the extension in Vivaldi and restart, everything works. I have to do this every time I use Teams and it's not very convenient, but it's better than nothing

mikilinux Ah yeah that makes sense. I disabled the plasma-browser-integration extension in Vivaldi a long time ago, as I didn't need it.
