Budgie Panel is gone, can't replace.

After last week's update, my wifi applet disappeared from the Budgie panel. It was also not present among the applet list items in Budgie Desktop Settings! So, I could not add it back.
Anyway, in all my efforts, I managed to delete the bottom panel for good, by accident.
How do I restore the original Budgie Panel, along with the wifi applet?

EDIT: I know that the wifi indicator is supposed to be a part of the system tray. It is not there now.

Create a new panel in Budgie desktop settings. Add the required applets. If you cannot remember which ones, boot from a live usb to check.

murbert Did that, but the panel has a white background, and it is not the Solus Budgie Panel. Also, the wifi icon is missing from the system tray, as mentioned above.

murbert No, I did not. It was last week's update that removed the wifi icon form my panel's system tray, AND removed it from the system tray in Budgie Desktop Settings Panel options.

Hi, try installing Budgie-restart-applet, it should restart the budgie panel.

Silversurfer Earlier today I did the following from the internet:
dconf reset -f /com/solus-project/budgie-panel/ nohup budgie-panel --replace &
It did not work, just returned me to another white background panel. Now, I don't mind the color (for now).
I do mind the absence of the wifi icon in the system tray.

I had that problem mostly with non Solus icon themes if you are not using one need
to try one of the Solus ones I am using korla-pgrey right now.
If I switch to downloaded ones the wifi and that will disappear.
Widgets on budgie doesnt seem to effect anything and it only happens with system tray.

I mentioned it in a thread but it was wild around here after the update.

At least that was my issue seems releated
Thats how I got around wifi not showing its really everything that shows in system tray

tty = install 2 Ebon packages + (rmo, drb, dc)
reboot
get back into budgie

maybe sequence?

reboot, no crash
install 2 packages
reboot, no wifi icon
I accidentally deleted the original Solus Budgie panel, and created a new one, but it is not what I had before
repopulated with my icons that I need and use, but there is no wifi icon available from panel settings
today waiting for godot 😄

Issue has been figured out. /usr/share/xdg/autostart/nm-applet.desktop has NotShowIn=KDE;GNOME;. Budgie dropped GNOME from the XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP env in 10.9.3, thus causing a race condition between nm-applet and Budgie on which version gets started. Working on a fix as I type this.

Like @Axios , I didn't install the two fixes, since I wasn't having issues on Budgie.

I can confirm that the absence of the Network Manager applet in the system tray is fairly recent, like @elfprince .

I can even specify that just a short while ago (I don't remember when), I saw it appear briefly in my session. I closed it, then reopened it, and the applet disappeared from the system tray again.

Today, since 6:45 PM (French time), the Network Manager applet has been displaying erratically.
Sometimes it appears in the system tray when a session is opened, and (often) other times it doesn't.
