Notice about KDE Plasma Edition

I got problems with Wayland and Fedora, with Stellarium soft, I had to add x11-Plasma to make it work properly.
I am testing Solus under Virtualbox, Stellarium works fine here, and this OS pleases me 🙂 .
Kernel is up to date like in Fedora, I wonder if I won't install Solus soon in hard.

I have a game (Age of Reforging) that I've been playing... it has no brightness setting. I was using Nvidia X server settings to manually override and make it playable. Now that Wayland is here, that trick no longer works for obvious reasons. Is there any other way to easily change the screen brightness for this one game?

Lucien_Lachance Yep, this is out of Solus or any other distro's hand outside of LTS distros, and that only delays it.

Valva/Steam work closely with KDE and pay developers to work on it, which tells me they understand and are likely on board with the move as well.

Agree, trying to continue maintaining X11 would just pull resources that could be used elsewhere. Putting more focus on Wayland should help push it forward better.
